Welcome to
The Bridge Church Lagos
A gospel-centred community in the heart of Ibeju-Lekki, excited about building people in God and building the city of Lagos.
Who We Are
A Gospel-Centred Community Built on Jesus Christ
Love & Foundation
We are a new church in Lagos. We love God, love people, and love the city. With Jesus Christ as our foundation, we are excited about building people in God and building the city of Lagos.
Unified in Christ
We are a group of people unified by the teaching of Jesus, and our unity signifies that Jesus Christ died to redeem people from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
On a Shared Mission
Our most important job is to help people become followers of Jesus. While we have a high view of authentic community, we are on a mission to reach those who are yet to encounter Jesus Christ.
To see the city of Lagos and beyond awakened to, and transformed holistically by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
To disciple people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, while developing genuine community with one another.
At the Heart of Ibeju-Lekki, for You.
The community we are planting in, Ibeju-Lekki, is a rapidly growing residential and commercial area within Lagos Island, Nigeria. The history of Ibeju-Lekki dates back to the early 2000s when it was largely a rural community with few residents and limited infrastructure.
However, with the increasing population and urbanization of Lagos, Ibeju-Lekki has experienced significant development and transformation over the years.
It is evolving from a quiet rural community to a bustling, vibrant neighbourhood on Lagos Island. The community is expanding whilst creating a vital need for more gospel-centred Churches.

Pastor Cole Olanrewaju
Lead Pastor & Church Planter
“Driven by a vision to establish a local church that will boldly proclaim the gospel, addressing both the challenges and opportunities of a city he knows so well.”
Meet the Coles!
Pastor Cole Olanrewaju is a dedicated church planter, conference speaker, and musician. Born and raised in the vibrant heart of Lagos, he is a devoted husband and father of three.
Before fully embracing God’s calling, he worked for several years as an Administrator, gaining valuable marketplace experience. However, his journey took a transformative turn when he answered the call to ministry, experiencing God’s power in his life and witnessing its impact on those he was called to serve.
His faith led him and his family to relocate abroad, where they spent a decade. During this time, Pastor Cole served in leadership roles alongside fellow believers, preaching the gospel and planting a church in the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Now, Pastor Cole has responded to a new calling: to return to Lagos, Nigeria, and plant a church that will be part of God’s redemptive plan for the nation. Much like Nehemiah’s mission to rebuild, Pastor Cole is driven by a vision to establish a local church that will boldly proclaim the gospel.
